A couple months ago a company called Duvolle reached out to me to asking if I would like to try a few of their hair tools. (They also gave me a 70% off coupon code for you to use!) After using them for a couple of months I figured I would update you guys on how I like them!
Coupon Code: MARISSABEAUTY70
I was graciously gifted two products (that I got to pick). My choices were 1.) “ADDICTION” IONIC STYLING BRUSH & 2.) PRO SERIES 32MM CURLING WAND. I’ll break down in detail what I liked & disliked about both products.
STYLING BRUSH

“ADDICTION” IONIC STYLING BRUSH: You can watch my live Facebook video with the brush here.
This was the first tool that I picked to try out from Duvolle. I was really happy with how much it calmed the friziness of my hair without having to use any product. Also- the added shine was a huge hit for me.
I have mildly wavy hair & it worked fine for what I wanted to accomplish – I was looking to get straight hair that still had some body to it (I didn’t want pin straight hair that you get from a straightener). However, if you have curly or kinky hair I am not sure that this tool will get hot enough to do the job that you are looking for. The tool does have multiple heat settings, but even on the highest setting it still took quite a bit of time for me to control my fizz.
If you are looking for pin straight hair I would suggest looking at some of their straightening tools (I have not personally tried these) but my coupon code (MARISSABEAUTY70) will get you 70% off your entire purchase.
I do wish that this brush had a built in blow dryer, but that’s not a huge deal breaker for me since I only wash my hair about once a week.
CURLING WAND
PRO SERIES 32MM CURLING WAND: You can watch my Live Facebook video with the curling wand here.

I got the 32mm Curling wand next & if you have longer hair like I do, I suggest grabbing this bigger barrel versus the smaller options. However, keep in mind that if you go with this option that your curls will be bigger & have a quicker fall out compared to using a smaller wand/barrel. This wand does come with a protective heat glove that is suggested for paired use. The top of the barrel does have a ‘cool touch’ so you can hold your hair in place- but I will warn it does still get pretty warm.
The wand has a few heat settings that you can control (I used the highest setting of 425 degrees F). Overall, I wasn’t super impressed with the longevity of my curls & I did notice while doing my hair that I had to leave my hair on the barrel longer than other tools that I have used. I think I am going to order a smaller barrel to see if that works better with my hair. I will do a follow up blog post to that once I have actually tested the process!
For now, I’m going to leave some of my favorite styling tools below that all ship free with Amazon Prime. If you haven’t tried Prime yet here’s a link for a free 30 day trial period.
